OSHA Form 300A – Workplace Posting (February 1 – April 30)
Employers that had 11 or more employees company-wide at any point in 2025 must post OSHA Form 300A (Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses) from February 1 through April 30, even if there were no recordable incidents in 2025.
Key reminders:
- Form 300A must be certified by a company executive
- It must be posted at each establishment in a conspicuous location where employee notices are normally displayed
- Certain employers are partially exempt from routine recordkeeping (10 or fewer employees or low-hazard industries), though all employers must still report serious injuries, hospitalizations, amputations, or fatalities to OSHA as required
Electronic Submission Deadline – March 2, 2026
Some employers must electronically submit injury and illness data to OSHA using the Injury Tracking Application (ITA) by March 2, 2026.
Electronic submission is required if:
- An establishment had 250 or more employees in the prior calendar year, or
- An establishment had 20–249 employees and operates in a designated high-hazard industry
Important notes:
- Reporting obligations are based on each physical establishment, not total company headcount
- Most employers covered by a State Plan must also submit electronically
Additional Electronic Reporting (Forms 300 & 301)
Establishments in designated high-hazard industries with 100 or more employees must also submit:
- Form 300 (Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses), and
- Form 301 (Injury and Illness Incident Report), in addition to Form 300A.
