On July 1 2019, the minimum wage for Los Angeles City, Los Angeles County (unincorporated) and other local jurisdictions will increase.

The Los Angeles City and Los Angeles County wage ordinances requires you to pay an employee who works at least two hours in a particular week within the geographic boundaries of the City of Los Angeles or within the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County at the minimum wage.
The number of employees is determined by averaging the number of employees the business employed during the previous calendar year.
Poster Requirements
Both the Los Angeles City and Los Angeles County wage ordinances requires you to display a notice in the workplace.
Los Angeles City requires the poster be posted in all languages spoken by five percent (5%) of employees.
Los Angeles County requires the poster be posted in English and Spanish and the primary language used to communicate with employees.
Other Local Ordinances
There are other local minimum wage ordinances that will be increasing effective July 1, 2019 and may also have poster requirements.
